So since We decided we were going to go hunting I had said I would need a scope on my 30-30, especially as the iron sights are off (adjusting them as much as they can go, still have to aim off to hit center) and my eyes aren't what they used to be. I guess she got tired of hearing me gripe...

Bushnell Banner 4x32mm fixed. The guys at Academy mounted it for free and bore-site it for 100yds, they used skeletal low profile rings per my request. We had to fold down the rear iron site to be able to get the caps on :)

So I came up with this brilliant idea...

After looking at quite a few things that showed Isaiah 40:31, and with my obsession for eagles, it was meant to be. Well I saw a Red Bull commercial shortly visiting Mardel's and things kinda clicked.

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) reads:

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint"

Thus the creation of the following sparked my brain, and Brandi had it made into a tie for me :D

Oy...

So I have been neglecting my websites for a very long time. I went in just to update the front page article, and realized I hadn't written anything new for my Brewers Blog in a while, even though I had been brewing.

Article written and posted!

Ok now what, went through and realized my RSS feeder was broke, went and fixed that...

Hey cool, forgot the forum was there, what's all the activity? Oh awesome... spam bots on my forum... Config > Forum Tools > Purge! Access > No Unregistered users! Here I thought I would give people a chance to post and figure out what the site was before joining, and in doing so opened up for bots, even with the captcha it wasn't working ><

So now going through and matching stuff up and trying to make things pretty, and realized my links were old, through those together, and realized I forgot my info to login to another site of mine and trying to recover all that jazz.... word to the wise... Login to your site at least once a month, makes sure you remember how to do so...

Ok, so after spending 8 years in Wyoming, in a tiny hick town of less than 200 people, where everybody was either a pot-smoking peace-loving hippie or a farmer (there was no in-between with the exception of my family), and then moving to Oregon by way of Washington first, where everybody is very liberal and also hippie-peace-loving folk, I fins myself in Texas. Conservative paradise!

By now my daughter is very much into peace signs, if it's not Hello Kitty or Peace Signs, she doesn't want it. Not to mention her reaction when she found both Hello Kitty and Peace signs on the same item!

Starting to feel very much like a hippie in the middle of redneck heaven... Mostly because people assume you project your wants and desires through your children, and that the way you dress you kids is how you make a statement. I don't know how to break it to the world that this stuff if ENTIRELY up to her!

Ahh the wonders of parenting

I was going to be nice and create this big old handy glossary to go along with my recipes, one that defined the terms I used and the terms others used in their cooking. However after spending not even 2 minutes on a google search I realized many people had done it more efficiently and effectively than I had or could. So without further adieu, here you go:
